Teacher Training Essex – PGCE Course Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements

All candidates must have:

  • An honours degree (minimum 2.2) from a university in Great Britain or Overseas, or a qualification recognised as equivalent to a degree

  • GCSEs at level C (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Science and English

  • The ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English

  • Candidates for the salaried route via School Direct must have a minimum of three years’ work experience
