If you are considering a career in teaching and would like to know more about becoming a teacher, you are warmly invited to attend one of our Train to Teach Events. These Train to Teach Events are the perfect opportunity for you to come along and see us, ask any questions you might have about the role of a teacher, how to prepare for teacher training or how to submit a successful application for teacher training. 

Who are these train to teach events for?

Our events are designed for anyone who has a degree and is interested in teaching – particularly those who are considering starting their initial teacher training in September 2018. It offers a great opportunity to get all your questions about teaching and teacher training answered.

  • Discuss the different teacher training options available, to help you decide which would best suit you
  • Meet representatives from our schools who deliver teacher training in this area, and find out about the courses and entry requirements
  • Receive advice on submitting a successful UCAS application
  • Talk to practising teachers about what a career as a teacher is really like
  • Find out about bursaries, scholarships and funding available for teacher training
