Train to Teach Events

Event Dates and Locations

You are warmly invited to come along to talk to us about teacher training at any of our events.

Drop-Ins at our base (10.30am – 2.00pm)

Come and meet us at our SCITT base if you are interested in postgraduate teacher training. These are informal events with staff on hand to answer any questions you might have about our training courses, finance, the application process or anything else elated to what we do. We welcome such visits and will make you feel at home with tea, coffee and biscuits. There’s no need to book, but if you know you’re definitely coming perhaps you would let us know so that we can ensure we have enough staff available

Teaching Fairs and Train to Teach Events

These are organised exhibition-type events with many teacher training organisations in attendance for you to speak to. There are usually presentations given during the event focussing on teaching and teacher training. We will be attending the events below and we look forward to meeting you. If you visit our stand, we usually have both UCAS and Finance guides to help you when you are ready to make your application.

If you are considering a career in teaching and would like to know more about becoming a teacher, you are warmly invited to attend one of our Train to Teach Events. These Train to Teach Events are the perfect opportunity for you to come along and see us, ask any questions you might have about the role of a teacher, how to prepare for teacher training or how to submit a successful application for teacher training. 

Who are these train to teach events for?

Our events are designed for anyone who has a degree and is interested in teaching – particularly those who are considering starting their initial teacher training in September 2019. It offers a great opportunity to get all your questions about teaching and teacher training answered.
